A CBS News/YouGov poll indicated that 76% of viewers approved of President Donald Trump’s speech to Congress, while 23% disapproved. According to Newsweek, the majority of people surveyed who watched the speech, 51%, identified as Republican, while 27% said they were independents and 20%, Democrats.


During his address, Trump discussed tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China, as well as the Russia-Ukraine war, with 63% of viewers believing he addressed their concerns.


Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, was removed from the House chamber for heckling Trump during the speech, and 76% of viewers approved of this action.
