D.C. police say they’ve arrested a man found with over 200 “homemade destructive devices,” including bottle rockets, Molotov cocktails and the ingredients for improvised explosive devices, camped out in a tent outside of the National Cathedral, according to The Washington Post. Several Supreme Court justices had been expected to attend a Sunday Mass at the cathedral, raising public concerns about the suspect’s intentions and the safety of the justices.
The man was discovered by local police before the Mass, and the justices decided not to attend after learning of the danger.
