The incident comes at a sensitive political moment just days after the suspected political assassination of Charlie Kirk, a high-profile MAGA activist and founder of TPUSA, at a speaking event in Utah.
Kirk’s killer is reportedly in custody, although he is said not to be cooperating with authorities. Utah Governor Spencer Cox joined politicians of both parties across the country in calling for nonviolence, empathy and civility as the investigation continues.
