Marjorie Taylor Greene’s ex-husband apologizes to Muslim women seen in viral video

Perry Greene, the ex-husband of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., publicly apologized for his behavior towards three Muslim women, stating, “No one should be treated that way.” The incident occurred at the Avalon shopping mall in Alpharetta, Georgia, where Greene shouted at the women, telling them to “go back to your country” while they prayed.


Alpharetta police decided not to pursue charges, emphasizing the protection of free speech and stating, “After thoroughly watching the video, we have determined no crime was committed.”


The viral video prompted discussions on the risks faced by visibly Muslim women, highlighting a 250% rise in anti-Muslim incidents reported by CAIR Georgia following events in Gaza.
