On Monday, Disney announced it would reinstate the late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” after significant public backlash following its cancellation — including backlash from right-wing GOP Sen. “As a First Amendment guy, myself, I think [Ted Cruz] probably got it right,” McConnell wrote on X.
While Disney seeks to reinstate the show, Brendan Carr and the right-leaning Sinclair Broadcast Group are keeping the pressure up on ABC and affiliates not to air the show.
