According to a new survey by Chief Executive, 62% of over 300 U.S. CEOs predict a recession in the next six months, a rise from 48% in March. The survey also found that around 75% of CEOs believe tariffs will negatively impact their businesses in 2025, while two-thirds oppose Trump’s proposed levies.


JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon expects earnings estimates for S&P 500 firms to decline due to tariff uncertainties.


The National Association of Business Economics survey indicates a bleak outlook, with expectations for the economy to grow only 0.7% this year.
