Elon Musk called Reuters “paid propaganda” in an X post earlier this week, reportedly supporting the theory that the Biden administration had funded the news outlet. The funding was allegedly intended for the outlet to examine Musk’s business dealings and influence.

“Yeah, this explains a lot,” Musk wrote. “Shame on Reuters.”

The alleged investigation by the Biden administration was part of a broader approach to evaluate Musk’s impact on various industries, reports said.
