The federal judge overseeing Sen. Bob Menendez’s bribery trial indefinitely delayed the trial for his wife, Nadine Menendez. She was charged alongside her husband but is set to face a separate jury due to her treatment for cancer. Nadine Menendez was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly before her husband’s trial began and did not attend any of the proceedings.

A jury found Bob Menendez guilty on all 16 counts on Tuesday, July 16, including bribery and extortion. Nadine Menendez faces similar charges.
