Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem will visit El Salvador’s Terrorism Confinement Center on Wednesday, March 26. Her visit comes after the United States transferred hundreds of immigrants illegally in the U.S. to the prison, as reported by Fox News.

Noem will tour the center with Salvadoran Minister of Justice Héctor Gustavo Villatoro and will later meet with El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele.

More than 250 illegal aliens deported are members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, according to the Trump administration.

The Department of Homeland Security announced the arrest of 68 Tren de Aragua gang members as part of ongoing deportation efforts.
