A 22-year-old man named Jacob Buckley from Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, is facing federal charges for threatening President Donald Trump on social media before Trump’s inauguration, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Buckley is alleged to have said on the platform, “I’m going to kill Trump,” on media including TikTok, as reported by the Department of Justice.

If convicted, the largest penalty that Buckley could face is five years in prison following supervised release, and a potential fine, as noted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The case was reportedly investigated by the Secret Service, and is going to be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney K. Wesley Mishoe.
