A Kentucky museum staffer from Planned Parenthood “inadvertently” gave sexually explicit coloring books to children aged 8 to 13 during an event at the Kentucky Science Center. The Kentucky Science Center apologized on March 26 for the distribution, stating that it did not align with event policies.
The book, which included illustrations of male and female anatomy, as well as crosswords and word searches with sexual terms, was reportedly created for Planned Parenthood’s annual conference. The organization has since acknowledged the mistake.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is reviewing over $27 million in Title X federal family-planning grants impacting Planned Parenthood affiliates for compliance with federal law.
