Poll: Many Americans feel the need to limit their political news

About 6 in 10 Americans feel they need to limit political news to avoid feeling overloaded, according to an AP-NORC/USAFacts poll. Richard Coffin from USAFacts stated there is “a glut of information,” making it hard to discern truth.
The survey found that 6 in 10 men follow political news closely, while only about half of women do. Some who responded say there is a “bombardment” of political information, to the point that many would rather watch something comforting, saying, “it’s hard to escape it.”
