Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., warned foreign leaders, including El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele, that Democrats will not “look kindly” on those aiding Donald Trump when they regain power. Raskin discussed the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an immigrant from El Salvador, who was sent back despite a court order preventing it.


Raskin suggested cutting off aid to El Salvador as retaliation for its support of Trump’s policies and emphasized the need for transnational democratic solidarity.
