U.S. Rep Nancy Mace (R-SC) told reporters on Thursday that she plans to start carrying a firearm more regularly in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s killing. Mace suggested she’d carry a weapon as frequently as allowed by law, depending on what state she’s in, and also indicated she’d be increasing her security team.
Her comments come after the suspected political assassination of Charlie Kirk, a hard-right activist and MAGA organizer who helped mobilize youth voter turnout in favor of President Donald Trump leading up to the 2024 election.
