Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. won’t attend the upcoming Atlanta debate, missing polling benchmarks against President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. Kennedy’s absence leaves the June 27 debate between just President Joe Biden and Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Kennedy also fell short of the 15% polling threshold in four national polls by June 20, expected from candidates participating in the debate.

The debate will be hosted by CNN, with a set of specific rules. One stipulation is having no live audience.
