Joe Rogan voiced support for Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s recent push to bring military leaders together in Quantico, Virginia. “You got guys in dresses talking about how it’s really important to have inclusiveness, ‘It’s the most important thing about the military, it’s inclusivity,’” Rogan said during his podcast.

Rogan criticized what he sees as the Biden administration’s prioritization of inclusivity and identity politics within military ranks, pointing to officials like Sam Brinton, the former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy. Hegseth used the gathering to roll out strict fitness standards, saying all service members now adhere to the “highest male standard” applied to men in combat roles.

Hegseth said that a military’s strength depends on ability and discipline, and he argued against letting identity considerations influence leadership or readiness decisions.
