The Russian Ministry of Defense says that Russia and Ukraine have agreed to a prisoner-of-war swap at a 1:1 ratio, with each country returning 185 captured soldiers to the other. 20 civilians were also released as part of the exchange.

The swap is part of a larger “1,000 for 1,000” agreement, where Russia and Ukraine said that they would each return 1,000 captured soldiers belonging to the opposing side. That agreement is being rolled out in several smaller phases.
