Saudi Arabia has executed more than 100 foreigners in 2024, marking a sharp increase that one rights group described as unprecedented. A total of 101 foreigners have been executed this year, almost triple the figures for 2023 and 2022, when there were 34 executions each year.

This year’s executions include 21 from Pakistan, 20 from Yemen, and 14 from Syria, representing the largest number of foreign executions in one year in Saudi Arabia.
