Some House Republicans are criticizing Rep. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio. Republicans are calling him “the worst choice” to be former President Donald Trump’s running mate due to his foreign policy and populist stance.

One Republican raised concerns, stating that nine out of 10 Republicans would chose someone else to be Trump’s vice president. The GOP is concerned that Vance does not have the experience or ability to reach voters outside of Trump’s established base, meaning he might now be able to convince swing voters to vote for the former president in the upcoming election.
