South Carolina Republican Rep. Joe Wilson, has proposed a $250 bill featuring President Donald Trump. This would make Trump the first living president on U.S. currency if approved.
Inflation in the U.S. reached 3% in 2025, while rising tariffs on imports from Mexico, Canada and China may affect prices.
Wilson’s proposal is in response to what he calls “Bidenflation,” criticizing policies from former President Joe Biden’s administration.
The $250 bill has not yet been introduced to Congress, and no timeline for its introduction has been established.
