Tuesday, Oct. 1, marks the first and likely only vice presidential debate between Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., and Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio. The candidates will be questioned by “CBS Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan, marking the first time two women have moderated any general election presidential or vice presidential debate.
The event will take place at the CBS Broadcast Center on Manhattan’s West Side. Both O’Donnell and Brennan are veteran journalists with significant experience covering national politics and have served as White House correspondents for CBS.
