Border Czar Tom Homan visited Albany, New York, on Wednesday, March 12, to criticize the state’s immigration policies. There, he called out Democrats on illegal immigration issues.

Assembly member Zohran Mamdani confronted Homan during his visit about the detention of Mahmoud Khalil, a permanent U.S. resident arrested by ICE agents.

Homan condemned the Green Light Law, which allows undocumented immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses. The Trump administration is currently challenging the legislation.

“New Yorkers deserve a leader who will stand up for our Constitutional rights against advancing authoritarianism,” Mamdani said during his remarks against Homan’s position.
