Former President Donald Trump has proposed that Fox News host the next presidential debate, causing confusion in the planning process. The debate was initially scheduled for Sept. 10, but President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 presidential campaign on Sunday, July 21 has disrupted arrangements.

“The next presidential debate should be moderated by Fox News, not ‘on Fake News ABC’,” Trump said after Biden officially dropped out. Biden gave an exclusive interview to ABC News after a poor debate performance that ultimately led to his withdrawal.
