Trump declared debate winner by 67% of viewers in CNN poll

A flash poll conducted by CNN following Thursday, June 27 night’s presidential debate showed former President Donald Trump soundly defeating President Joe Biden. CNN hosted the 90-minute debate in Atlanta.

The CNN poll posted on air showed that 67% of debate watchers felt that Trump won the debate compared to 33% who believe Biden won the debate. Around 96% of GOP viewers believe Trump excelled in the debate, while approximately 69% of Democratic viewers see Biden as the winner.

The two presumptive candidates are scheduled to debate again in September.
