A statue titled “Best Friends Forever,” showing President Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein dancing hand‑in‑hand, was removed from Washington, D.C.’s National Mall just one day after it appeared. The life-sized bronze figures were accompanied by a plaque reading, “In honor of Friendship Month, we celebrate the long‑standing bond between President Donald J. Trump and his closest friend Jeffrey Epstein.”

The installation was credited to an anonymous collective known as “The Secret Handshake.” While the group had obtained a permit for the statue to stay through Sunday, U.S. Park Police say the sculpture was removed early on Wednesday for failing to comply with permit specifications, including size limits.
