The Trump administration has accused the Human Rights Council of bias against Israel and criticized UNRWA for its alleged ties to Hamas, according to various sources.
Israeli spokesman David Mencer stated that UNRWA should cease operations in Israel due to its involvement in the Oct. 7, 2021 attack.
Multiple outlets reported that the Biden Administration had paused funding for UNRWA after allegations against its employees, but it had previously restored it.
