President Donald Trump has renewed his call for Hamas to release all remaining hostages believed to be held in Gaza. In a social media post, Trump said that if the hostages are returned, “things will change rapidly.”

The president did not elaborate on specific actions or consequences.
Hamas took 250 hostages during the October 7 attack on Israel.

Officials estimate that at least 48 individuals remain in captivity, with around 20 believed to be still alive. On the other side, nearly 11,000 Palestinians are currently being held in Israeli prisons.

Concerns have been raised about the conditions of detention, including allegations of starvation and torture. Trump also commented on Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, warning that its ongoing actions may be damaging the country’s global image.
