White House tours will be paused indefinitely amid the construction of President Donald Trump’s new ballroom. The project is estimated to have a price tag of $200 million and will span approximately 90,000 square feet.

Construction is slated to begin in September, with no clear timeline for when it will be completed. Trump and unnamed donors are reportedly covering the costs of the new event space.

The project follows a number of other White House renovations, including the Rose Garden, which has since been transformed into a concrete patio. Trump also redecorated the Oval Office, featuring gold furnishings and trimmings.
