Ukraine has protested to the International Atomic Energy Agency, claiming that any attempt to connect the plant to Russia’s grid would violate international law and Ukrainian sovereignty.
IAEA officials have indicated that restarting the plant would require significant improvements to water and power supplies due to the ongoing war.
