According to the U.S. House Budget Committee, the United States’ national debt has surpassed $35 trillion. The Committee said this marked a “dubious milestone.”

Economist Peter Schiff, R, said that the debt increased by more than $7.2 trillion during President Joe Biden’s time in office.

Peter Schiff also said that President Biden may surpass former President Donald Trump, who had a record debt addition. Trump had an addition of $7.8 trillion during his time in office.

This information comes shortly after President Biden announced he will no longer be running in the 2024 election.
