Amid talks to end the Russia-Ukraine war, the U.S. and Russia are reportedly considering a plan that would mirror Israel’s occupation of the West Bank. Theoretically, Russia’s military would control parts of Ukraine.

The nation, led by President Vladimir Putin, would also become an economic stronghold in those regions. Despite talks to end the war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rejected the idea of conceding any territory to Russia.

Meanwhile, Zelenskyy insists that any negotiations made must include the voice of Ukraine. President Donald Trump and Putin are set to meet on Friday to discuss the war in Ukraine and a possible ceasefire.
