Members of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency connected Starlink to the White House communications system despite objections from President Donald Trump’s communications experts. According to The Washington Post’s Joseph Menn, the White House communications team received no notice of the Starlink installation, raising security concerns.

Sources claimed that White House staff could not monitor the Starlink connection, risking sensitive information leakage and unauthorized access. Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi stated they were aware of the project and did not view it as a security incident, amid growing concerns over SpaceX’s technology.
