Renowned economist Christophe Barraud predicts Donald Trump will win the upcoming Nov. 5 U.S. presidential elections. Barraud forecasts a “GOP clean sweep,” suggesting Republicans will retake Congress in addition to winning the presidency.
Barraud anticipates GDP growth post-election between 2.1% and 2.3% in 2025 due to a Trump presidency and Republican control. The economist said in a post on X that he’d looked at metrics like betting markets, polls, election modelers forecasts and financial markets to come to the conclusion.
