Yemeni army launches drone toward Red Sea Eilat port in fresh anti-Israeli operation

The Israeli army said it intercepted a Houthi drone on Tuesday, July 15. Officials said the drone was launched from Yemen toward Eliat City in Israel.

Two drones targeted a “key military target” and a third hit the Eliat port. Houthi officials said the drones “successfully hit its targets.”

Attacks on Israel have increased after Israel resumed attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Since late 2023, Houthis have targeted commercial shipping in the Red Sea in support of Palestine. Recently, the group sank two ships in the Red Sea.
