Donald Trump has a history of threatening politicians, journalists, generals and citizens, but recently his rhetoric has taken an explicitly violent turn. In a letter sent to his supporters last week, Trump urged his followers to “haul out the guillotine” for his perceived enemies. During the closing days of his presidency, Trump repeatedly advocated for the execution of one of his own Republican staffers. When asked about that incident during an interview with Dr. Phil, Trump replied that “sometimes revenge can be justified.”

Watch the above video as Straight Arrow News contributor Jordan Reid warns Americans of Donald Trump’s “murderous” intentions.

The following is an excerpt of the above video:

Donald Trump has stated out loud repeatedly that he wishes to execute people who vex him. That’s not a hyperbolic claim, that’s straight from the mouth of none other than former Attorney General Bill Barr: “I doubt he would have actually carried it out.” That is a wild sentence to hear coming out of the mouth of a former attorney general.

Former White House aide Alyssa Farah Griffin also confirmed Trump’s tendency to threaten execution on a Mediaite podcast, where she related a story about Trump’s rage following a staff leak. Worth noting here is what the leak was about. It was a story about how Trump fled to a bunker during the George Floyd protests in May 2020. Allegedly, the staffer didn’t share national secrets that put the country in danger, he didn’t even commit a crime. He just made Trump feel silly.

The fact that Bill Barr gave this interview while also endorsing Trump for president adds another layer to this insane situation where I guess it’s okay for the most powerful man on the planet to casually chat about murdering people. It’s just Trump being Trump.

Oh, and earlier this month, he reiterated his interest in prosecuting his enemies during an interview with Newsmax and sort of the Newsmax clip.

I’m going to read part of it just in case you can’t find the audio.

Wouldn’t it be terrible to throw the president’s wife and the former Secretary of State?

Wouldn’t it be terrible to throw the president’s wife and the former Secretary of State? Think of it the former Secretary of State, but the president’s wife into jail? Wouldn’t that be a terrible thing, but they want to do it. It’s a terrible, terrible path that they’re leading us to, and it’s very possible that it’s going to have to happen to them.

The man is a reality star. He knows how to keep his name in the press. He knows how to rile his base up. And he also knows that he creates so much noise that his supporters will often disregard His more unlovely statements as part of his persona.

But he is saying it out loud. He’s telling us what he is going to do. Not once, but he is saying it out loud. He is telling us what he is going to do. Not once but over and over again.

I believe him.
