An upcoming dating app called Single Riders is helping Disney adults find love. From fan feedback to beta signups, here’s what to know. You’ve heard of people signing up for apps like Tinder or Bumble in hopes of finding their match. There are even niche platforms like Christian Mingle or Silver Singles. Now joining that list of highly specific love connections is Single Riders—a dating app for Disney adults and theme park lovers. Named after the line-skipping option at amusement parks, this version is all about skipping to the good part: finding someone who shares your love of churros and character meet-and-greets. Whether you're looking for love or just a park buddy, the app aims to match like-minded fans. “Two years ago, I got stood up on a date and did what any other Orlando local does — I went to Disney and I realized we needed a Disney adult dating app.” That’s from the app’s co-creator, Joe the Bearded Nerd. He says you won’t need a Florida or California zip code to join. “It’s going to be available everywhere in the United States at first.” Joe says they’ll be gathering feedback from fans on what features they’d like to see—and the comments are already rolling in. “Please make an option for single parents as well!” “It would be awesome to have a feature that shows if other singles are at the parks at the same time!” Sure, there are a fair share of skeptics. But Joe says the support from the Disney adult community has been overwhelmingly positive. And believe it or not—Joe’s not the only one onto something. Disney adults are even building their entire lives around the magic. Back in 2023, The Wall Street Journal profiled Golden Oak—an exclusive gated neighborhood at Walt Disney World Resort. With just 300 homes ranging from the low millions to nearly $20 million, it’s a place where some properties even feature Star Wars-themed theaters and Disney collectibles. Single Riders isn’t open to the public just yet. But beta signups are coming someday soon in a galaxy not so far away. Joe says those interested should keep an eye out toward the end of this year — or early next.
