Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices have agreed to give the U.S. government 15% of revenue from artificial intelligence chip sales to China under a new arrangement with the Trump administration. The payments are tied to the companies receiving export licenses for their products — Nvidia’s H20 and AMD’s MI308 — which had been restricted under earlier national security rules.
