The Department of Defense is establishing two new National Defense Areas (NDAs) along the southern U.S. border, expanding the military’s footprint under President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement initiative. The zones—located in western Arizona and South Texas—are attached to Marine Corps Air Station Yuma and Joint Base San Antonio, respectively.
