X, the company formerly known as Twitter, will officially close its San Francisco headquarters on Friday, Sept. 13, marking the end of its significant presence in the city. The closure date, which coincides with the superstitious "Friday the 13th," adds an ironic twist to the company's history in the mid-Market neighborhood.
