Moderate House Dem: ‘Donald Trump is going to win. And I’m OK with that’

Moderate Democrat Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine, said he is not planning to vote for President Joe Biden. Golden said that he believes former President Donald Trump will be reelected, finding it acceptable.

Rep. Golden advocates cooperation, accountability and bipartisan work for Maine’s politicians in 2025 if former President Trump wins the presidential race

Rep. Golden also emphasized the strength of democracy, stressing the importance of protecting constitutional rights and American democracy.

Golden said all this in an op-ed piece published on Tuesday, July 2.
