Biden, Putin to meet for first time June 16 in Geneva


The White House confirmed President Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet for the first time on June 16.

This will be the first meeting between the two as world leaders. It comes amid growing tensions between the two nations.

“The leaders will discuss the full range of pressing issues, as we seek to restore predictability and stability to the U.S.-Russia relationship,” Press Secretary Jen Psaki said.
