A hot mic caught President Joe Biden making a sarcastic comment about inflation. With inflation up seven percent, new polling from NBC News found 61 percent of Americans feel they are losing ground because of the increased cost of living.
Biden spoke to reporters Monday ahead of a meeting with the White House Competition Council.
“Do you think inflation is a political liability ahead of the midterms,” Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked Biden as reporters were leaving the room.
“That’s a great asset. More inflation,” Biden deadpanned into the hot microphone. “What a stupid son of a bitch.”
