A May 2023 police call in Las Vegas caught the local community’s attention when a family reported spotting aliens in its backyard. Local media reported the incident occurred amidst earlier reports of a flash in the sky, adding to confusion among police.
According to 8 News Now, investigators said it is likely something crashed into the family’s yard, but exactly what crashed into the yard remains unclear more than a month later. Drone video reportedly showed a circular imprint in the dirt.
In the police call, the witness described the figure he had seen as being “more than 10 feet tall” and as having “big eyes”. The caller had also stated what he saw was “not human”.
The family said officials returned to the home over several days to investigate, but the department has since closed the case, the local station reported.
No video evidence of an alien like figure was presented.
A WHISTLEBLOWER SPEAKS OUT
The news comes amidst increased coverage of UFOs and a high-profile whistleblower coming forward alleging the U.S. government is engaged in a larger UFO cover up campaign.
NewsNation reported that David Grusch, an Air Force veteran and former member of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, provided information on what he claims are extraterrestrial craft recovered and kept secret by the U.S. government.
Grusch stated in an interview, “There is a sophisticated disinformation campaign targeting the U.S. populace, which is extremely unethical and immoral.”
The whistleblower further suggested that the U.S. government has even retrieved bodies from other species.
“These are retrieving non-human origin technical vehicles, call it spacecraft if you will, non-human exotic origin vehicles that have either landed or crashed,” Grusch told NewsNation.
According to Grusch, the government has concealed the existence of UFOs or unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) for decades, and he has provided classified evidence to Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General.
If his statements are accurate, it would be the first time an official representative from the U.S. government has said we are not alone in the universe, according to NewsNation.
The Pentagon has denied the claims.
Susan Gough, a spokesperson for the Department of Defense, told Fox News Digital in an email that there is no “verifiable information to substantiate the claims.”
“To date, AARO has not discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently,” Gough said.
Meanwhile, the House Oversight Committee in Congress is reportedly in the early stages of preparing a hearing that will include the unconfirmed claims made by the whistleblower.
