Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel launched an investigation into the Boy Scouts of America.
The investigation is in relation to sex abuse allegations that came to light during a civil case.
The BSA filed for bankruptcy last year, in order to stop hundreds of civil lawsuits and create a compensation fund for men who were molested by scoutmasters or other leaders when they were boys.
Court document estimates about 7,800 leaders abused about 12,000 boy scouts.
The victims’ group estimates over 82,000 claims, costing about $102 billion.
