Good news regarding unemployment. The latest jobless claim numbers are in this morning. Initial claims dropped below 400,000 for the first time since the pandemic began. They have fallen by 35% since late April. The May employment report is expected to come out tomorrow. Economists expect the unemployment rate to drop below 6%.
