Trump to stump for Herbster at Nebraska rally

Full story

Donald Trump is scheduled to appear at a rally in Nebraska on Friday. The former president has been supporting select Republican candidates nationwide, and he has already endorsed Nebraska gubernatorial candidate Charles Herbster, who is scheduled to speak at Friday’s rally.

Herbster, vying for the seat Nebraska’s term-limited Gov. Pete Ricketts will vacate, has polled slightly ahead of other Republican candidates as the May 10 primary elections draw nearer. Several women, including a GOP state lawmaker, have alleged Herbster groped them at public events and forcibly kissed one woman.

“I have never and never will act in the way that these accusations last week were leveled at me,” Herbster said.
