Biden administration forced experts to drop minimum age limit for trans surgery

The Biden administration reportedly attempted to force an international group of scientists to remove the minimum age limit for “gender-affirming care,” according to newly released court documents. Rachel Levine, the assistant secretary for health, was allegedly involved.

Changes to the World Professional Association for Transgender Health’s Standards of Care Version 8 omitted previous age recommendations due to the official’s pressure.

Guidelines for age limits on transgender procedures were omitted after objections were raised, affecting hormone treatment, mastectomies, breast augmentation, and genital surgeries.
