Kansas sues Pfizer over ‘misleading statements’ about COVID vaccine

Kansas filed a lawsuit against Pfizer, Inc. for alleged misleading claims on the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine safety and effectiveness. Attorney General Kris Kobach, R, accused Pfizer of violating consumer protection laws with deceptive vaccine statements.

Kobach announced on Monday, June 17, that the Sunflower State is suing Pfizer for “misleading claims it made related to the COVID vaccine.”

Pfizer allegedly concealed vaccine risks like myocarditis and pregnancy issues while making misleading statements about vaccine efficacy against variants. The lawsuit also accuses Pfizer of censoring information on social media.
