Buzz Aldrin endorsed former President Donald Trump for president, stating that Trump’s first administration saw a revitalized interest in space. Aldrin noted that Trump “reinstituted the National Space Council” and created the U.S. Space Force.
He believes that despite global and economic challenges, the United States is “best served by voting for” Trump. Aldrin believes that as technology marches forward, the domain of space will be fought over more and more as space “becomes a contested domain.”
