Tristan Peterson

Tristan is vice president of design and brand for Straight Arrow. She spearheads Straight Arrow’s creative department, overseeing the visual identity, brand consistency, design strategy, execution, and processes across all platforms.

Tristan began her career designing for print and web at Sandhills Publishing before transitioning to broadcast motion design and design coordination for TEGNA Design Tank. While working for TEGNA’s 64 local news stations, Tristan earned six Emmys, two national Promax Silver awards, one national Promax Gold award and many other awards. Her goal throughout her career has been to deliver complex information to viewers in a straightforward, understandable way.

Originally a Nebraska native and a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, Tristan now lives in Parker, Colorado with her husband, three kids, and their dog, Rory. She enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and staying caffeinated with lattes.
